一 | Veteran South Korean actor O Yeong-su, best known for his award-winning role in Netflix’s global hit Squid Game, has been acquitted of sexual misconduct charges by an appellate court. The Suwon District Court announced the decision on Tuesday, overturning a previous ruling that had found the 81-year-old guilty of harassment. The case dates back to 2017, when O was accused of hugging and kissing a woman without her consent during a regional theatre tour. In 2022, a lower court convicted him and sentenced him to eight months in prison, suspended for two years. Prosecutors had sought a one-year jail term, which was also pushed in the appeal. However, the appellate judges dismissed the conviction, stating that while there were grounds for suspicion, there wasn’t enough evidence to prove the case beyond doubt. The court noted that the woman had sought counselling for sexual violence six months after the alleged incident and that O Yeong-su had apologized at her request. Still, the judges raised concerns about potential inconsistencies in her recollection of events over time and stressed the importance of protecting the defendant’s rights in cases with lingering uncertainty. The alleged victim expressed disappointment following the verdict. In a statement shared through the women’s rights organization Womenlink, she said, Despite today’s ruling, I will continue to speak the truth to the very end. This decision cannot erase my pain or the reality of what happened. Womenlink also criticized the court’s judgment, calling it “a decision that once again hides the issue of sexual violence in the theatre industry. O Yeong-su rose to worldwide fame with his emotional portrayal of Player 001 in Squid Game, a role that earned him a Golden Globe Award in 2022. While his legal battle had cast a shadow over his later career, the new ruling clears his name, at least in the eyes of the law. Also Read: Shah Rukh Khan Poses With Squid Game Stars Lee Jung-jae and Lee Byung-hun。 2024年4月25日是我国第38个全国儿童预防接种日。保证每位儿童都能享受到国家免疫规划疫苗的免费接种服务，不仅是法律法规的要求，更是每个孩子应当享有的权利。 2024年全国儿童预防接种日主题宣传海报。（国家疾控局供图） 给孩子接种疫苗前，应做好哪些准备？如果延误了疫苗接种怎么办？新华社记者连线首都医科大学附属北京儿童医院的专家，解答家长的疑问。 一问：部分家长疑惑，为何现在的宝宝要接种的疫苗变多了？ 北京儿童医院保健中心主治医师杜娟：随着时代进步和医疗水平提升，与上一代人童年时期相比，现在有了更多安全和有效的疫苗，所以宝宝被推荐接种的疫苗更多了。对孩子的健康来说，这是一笔财富。同时，随着更多联合疫苗的开发和使用，孩子须接种的疫苗针次有望进一步减少。 二问：给孩子接种疫苗前，家长应做好哪些准备？ 杜娟：家长应做好以下准备，包括准备预防接种本；提前一天洗澡，让孩子休息好，保持接种部位皮肤清洁；不要给孩子吃不易消化的食物；给孩子穿宽松、易穿脱的衣服；梳理并告知医生孩子既往的疾病史、用药史、过敏史，近期是否患有疾病、是否接种过其他疫苗，上一次接种疫苗后有无不适等重要信息，以便医生掌握疫苗接种禁忌；认真阅读疫苗接种知情同意书，签署后留存底联。 三问：孩子当前健康状况良好，担心接种疫苗后有反应，不接种行吗？ 北京儿童医院保健中心副主任医师魏庄：接种疫苗后，少数孩子可能会出现局部疼痛、红肿等轻微不良反应，通常都可自行缓解。相比之下，不接种疫苗可能使孩子面临更高的感染风险，面临更严重的健康威胁。 因此与疾病自然感染可能带来的健康风险相比，预防接种是预防疾病安全且有效的方法，我们建议要及时给孩子接种疫苗。
二 | 四问：孩子如果延误了疫苗接种怎么办？还能继续接种吗？ 魏庄：如果孩子因某些原因未能按照推荐年龄完成国家免疫规划规定的接种剂次，未及时接种的疫苗是可以补种的。 疫苗补种的总体原则是：尽早完成补种，尽快完成全程接种，优先保证国家免疫规划疫苗的全程接种。只需补种未完成的剂次，无需重新开始全程接种。 五问：什么是第二类疫苗，怎么打？ 北京儿童医院保健中心副主任医师纪文静：第二类疫苗也叫非免疫规划疫苗，一般指没有纳入国家免疫规划、由公民自费并且自愿受种的其他疫苗。家长可以根据孩子的身体健康需求选择是否接种这类疫苗，如水痘疫苗、肺炎球菌疫苗等。 六问：流感疫苗需要每年都打吗？ 北京儿童医院保健中心副主任医师沈瑞云：接种流感疫苗是预防流感最有效的手段，可降低接种者罹患流感和发生严重并发症的风险。由于流感病毒容易发生变异，每年的流感疫苗可能都不同，并且接种疫苗产生的免疫力会随着时间推移逐渐减弱，因此建议每年接种。 6月龄至5岁儿童、孕妇、6月龄以下儿童家庭成员及看护人员等，都是流感疫苗接种的重点人群。流感疫苗接种后2周左右产生抗体，建议在流感季前完成疫苗接种。
三 | 七问：孩子有湿疹、过敏性疾病能打疫苗吗？ 沈瑞云：如果已知对某种疫苗成分过敏或是既往接种该种疫苗出现过敏反应，要禁止接种相关疫苗。其他过敏情况在急性发作期不应接种疫苗，必须等到缓解期、相对稳定期或恢复期再接种疫苗。 患有湿疹的儿童可以接种疫苗，但建议避开湿疹部位接种，如避不开，建议暂缓接种。对全身严重弥漫性分布的湿疹患儿建议暂缓接种。 每个孩子的过敏情况不同，要在征求专科医生及儿童免疫规划医生建议后，再安排疫苗接种。 记者：顾天成、田晓航、徐鹏航。
